ABOUT AVIDD
Community Services
Since 1986, Avidd Community Services of NJ has proudly provided quality services that help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their highest level of achievement and independence.
We designed our programs to ensure each individual becomes a contributing community member. Avidd offers community housing, job training, job placement services, and social and recreational experiences to enrich the lives of the adults in our programs.
Our Mission
The mission of Avidd Community Services of NJ is to provide community-based services for people with developmental disabilities to assist them in achieving their full potential. We’re committed to helping people with developmental disabilities fully participate in all aspects of community life.
Avidd enables individuals to develop fully by encouraging independence and growth. At Avidd, we treat everybody who receives our services with respect and dignity. Our concerned, caring staff pay close attention to each individual’s needs, aspirations, and desires and are dedicated to supporting people with disabilities while they achieve their goals.

Avidd Residential Services is focused on community participation, family support, and individual empowerment. Our 17 residences throughout Bergen, Morris, and Somerset counties are licensed by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
